We kindly ask for a 7 day notice for all custom cakes. However, we can possibly accommodate orders 3-5 days in advance depending on the difficulty of the design.

Unfortunately, we only have 1 vegan dessert option available which is our Agar Cakes. Similar to jello cakes but made with Agar Agar instead of gelatin, and has a more firm and crunchy texture.

Once you or another designated party has picked up and signed for an order, it is considered accepted. Upon pick up, we will ask and make sure everything is correct with the cake (design, color, writing/spelling). Refunds regarding the overall design, after the cake has been accepted, will not be honored.  However, you may bring the cake back for minor adjustments if necessary. 

Cake taste and texture is subjective. Refunds regarding cake flavor and texture, after the cake has been accepted, will not be honored. However, you may qualify for store credit should you bring back the product, for it to be examined and determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back in a timely manner (within 24 hours of pick up if possible). Quality examination is at the discretion of Van's Bakery. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have been completely consumed. Store credit is based on how quickly the cake was returned, how much was eaten and what the determined quality is. 

Please present your copy of the order invoice upon arrival to an available employee. Should you not have your copy or if another designated party is picking up your order, please provide the name and phone number connected to the order. 

Please plan accordingly and have a properly sized vehicle with enough flat-space to transport your cake. This is very important for large sheet cakes and multi-tiered cakes since we are not liable for any damages that should occur after the order has been accepted/picked up. 

Our cakes are best enjoyed the same day that it is picked up. It is not recommended to have our cakes out at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Store under refrigeration until serving if possible. Our cakes will keep well for 5 days under refrigeration.

A 50% deposit is required confirm your order. 

Full payment must be received 3 days before the selected pick up date.
